Stonebranch Financial Services is the realization of a lifelong dream for our managing director, Joel Churchill, who after a 10 year career in both public and private practice took the exciting step of opening his own firm.
Joel’s background in taxation, auditing and financial counselling provides a unique skill set to his clientele, offering holistic solutions to help individuals and businesses improve their financial positon.
Joel is a CPA qualified accountant and an expert in corporate finance management; having delivered change and financial success in large corporate and government organisations. Joel also holds a post graduate qualification in Financial Planning. He is a current member of the Wellington Shire Councils’ Audit and Risk Committee.

The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) is a national body responsible for the registration and regulation of tax agents, BAS agents and tax (financial) advisers (collectively referred to as ‘tax practitioners’).
The TPB is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA), including the Code of Professional Conduct (Code).
